Population statistics do not describe you
Most of the numbers on this site are rates and prevalence estimates for a whole county over a period of years. A county with a high lung cancer death rate contains many people who will never develop it; a county with a low rate contains people who will. An age-adjusted rate is a tool for comparing populations, and it says nothing whatsoever about the risk facing any particular person.
The CDC PLACES figures are modelled small-area estimates rather than counts of diagnosed people, and they carry confidence intervals this site does not reproduce. Read them as approximations.
A radon zone is not a measurement of your home
The EPA Map of Radon Zones predicts an average indoor screening level for a county from geology, soil, aerial radioactivity and historical measurements. Homes above the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L are found in all three zones, and two houses on the same street routinely differ by more than the gap between zones.

No tool here reaches a conclusion about you
There is deliberately no symptom checker, risk calculator or screening-eligibility tool on this site. Where screening criteria are relevant we publish them as the issuing body published them, and leave the application of those criteria to you and a clinician. A tool that told you what you have would be a different kind of product, subject to a different body of regulation, and we have chosen not to build one.
