When you request quotes through a form on this site, we pass your name, email and ZIP to radon measurement and mitigation professionals serving your area, and they pay us for that introduction. That is the site’s main source of revenue.

A contractor pays a flat fee for an introduction. No contractor pays a share of the work you subsequently commission, and no payment is contingent on you buying anything. We are not a party to any contract you enter into with them, we do not supervise their work, and you should check their certification and licensing yourself.

Every product shown is a real listing pulled from Amazon’s own catalogue with its real title, brand, rating and price, and each rail carries the date those prices were retrieved. Prices move; the one on Amazon when you buy is the one that applies. Product rails are labelled “affiliate links” where they appear, and marked rel="sponsored" in the markup so search engines are told the same thing you are.

These are not oversights. Each is a category we could earn from and do not:

• No per-referral payment involving any clinical laboratory, clinic, treatment facility, imaging centre or durable medical equipment supplier. Oxygen concentrators and CPAP equipment are the obvious temptations here, and they are exactly the ones we decline.
• No Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement or Part D lead generation. Our readers skew older and this is offered at good rates.
• No supplements, and no product marketed as improving lung function or reversing lung damage.
• No sale or sharing of reader data with data brokers, insurers or advertising platforms.
• No sponsored content presented as editorial, and no payment that could change how a county is described.

A site about lungs can make money from homeowners fixing buildings, or from patients buying care. The first is a home improvement referral. The second runs into the federal Anti-Kickback Statute and the Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act, the latter of which is a criminal statute that applies regardless of who is paying, including cash.
